At Arlen Reed, every project starts with a conversation. We take on a deliberately small number of homes at a time, so the people designing your space are the same people you speak to throughout, from the very first meeting to the final install.

We take the time to properly understand how you live, what you love, and what a space needs to do for you, before a single idea goes on paper. The result is a home that feels entirely your own through careful consideration and layering.

We believe the most successful interiors feel as though they have evolved over time. Our schemes bring together antique and contemporary pieces, hand-printed natural fabrics, and a considered use of colour to create spaces that feel warm, personal and effortlessly lived in.

Behind every project

Each Arlen Reed project is led by two people with distinct but complementary roles. One leads the design, getting to know your space and what is possible within it, then guiding you through every design meeting, the sourcing of each piece and the final installation. The other looks after the commercial side, confirming your budget, proposal, timeline and payment structure from the outset, then managing the schedule and paperwork so everything arrives and comes together as planned.

We also bring an established network of trusted trades, artisans and suppliers whose craftsmanship and finish we know first hand

A client-first studio

We reply to every enquiry within one working day.
Once we have collaboratively scoped your project, you'll receive a written proposal within five working days, setting out the scope, fees and timeline in full.
Every cost is agreed with you in writing before any work begins or anything is ordered.
Throughout your project, we keep you updated on progress and let you know whenever we need a decision from you.
When your project is complete, you'll have everything you need to enjoy the result, whether that's a finished room, a complete design scheme ready to bring to life, or care information for every piece we've supplied.

Where we work

Winchester, Hampshire & the South East

Arlen Reed is based in Winchester and works across Hampshire and the South East. We also travel further afield for projects that suit our style and feel like a natural fit.
